Visit at B. Braun in Melsungen, manufacturer of medical and pharmaceutical devices

The programme included a tour, the logistics and production departments, and history of the company as well as the staff areas. Mr Moritz Tietz, alumnus of FHWS, initiated this excursion. Prof. Dr. Karsten Machholz was the supervising professor.

Excursion to Südzucker at the Ochsenfurt location

Twenty students had the chance to visit the factory of the sugar producer Südzucker. In addition to a tour of the production area and information about the production of sugar, there was a talk about the logistical challenges in sugar production.

Tour of Würth Industrie Service in Bad Mergentheim

The company trading in the area of assembly and fastening technology and providing services in logistics provided insight in their services, the company and its logistics. Mr Lasse Patzig, alumnus of FHWS, and his colleague Mr Hild made this excursion possible.

Students visit companies in Hamburg and Lübeck

During a two-days excursion, students visited Desitin, a pharmaceutical company, and Drägerwerk, which is involved in medical and safety technology. Prof. Dr. Bremer was the supervising professor for this excursion.
