The CLAD Certificate is a possible final exam for the general elective LabVIEW for Engineers.

NI LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment for engineers and scientists that is used to create test, measurement, and control applications. Developed more than 20 years ago, LabVIEW’s intuitive handling makes it easy to integrate the software into classroom instruction, projects, and applications to promote sustainable training for future engineers and scientists.

At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to obtain an official certificate from National Instrument, the so-called CLAD - Certified LabVIEW Associated Developer. If you pass the exam with 70% or more, you will be sent the CLAD Certificate by National Instruments. Students can thus obtain an additional certificate for their applications.

The cross-faculty lecture series gründen@fhws is a general elective (AWPM) that teaches everything to make you fit for your own start-up activities. It is, however, currently only offered in German. Within the general elective and together with cooperation partners, such as THWS lecturers supporting start-ups, the digital innovation centre Zentrum für Digitale Innovation (ZDI), the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and many others, you can participate in workshops and lectures to learn more about start-up procedures.

Events you attend and results you produce, also those at external partners, are collected in your personal GRÜNDER:portfolio. This portfolio shows your entrepreneurial activities and achievements and can support later start-up activities with investors or funding applications.
