The ERP Lab is currently looking for Bachelor’s and Master’s students in the following fields: 

Project-based work

As an ERP laboratory, we conduct research projects on digitalization in collaboration with industry partners, focusing on business processes within production and logistics. Our key areas of focus include the application of AI in ERP systems, sustainability in ERP systems, the digitalization of reusable packaging cycles, and IoT architectures or IoT/cybersecurity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Lab work

In our ERP laboratory, we aim to demonstrate ERP concepts in a tangible way; accordingly, we intend to develop example processes—particularly in the field of IoT. The objective is twofold: to theoretically examine the application of technologies such as computer vision, local LLMs (within inference and serving environments), indoor positioning, machine sensors, and other Industry 4.0 solutions in the context of order processing, and to subsequently test or conceptualize these applications through practical examples in the laboratory.

Theoretical work

Furthermore, we are looking for students interested in writing their Bachelor’s or Master’s theses on theoretical topics—for example, in the areas of AI in ERP systems, sustainability in ERP systems, the digitalization of reusable packaging cycles, IoT architectures, or IoT/cybersecurity.
