Overview

Overview about the Bachelor's programme "Nachhaltige Energiesysteme (BNED)"
Relevance of the programme Creating a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy supply is one of the most pressing problems of our society. The focus here is on the use of different energy sources and storage technologies, which must be systemically coordinated with each other, as well as the creation of a sector coupling between different energy networks (electricity, gas and heat). This exciting task must be carried out by engineers, who need a comprehensive education for this, combining technical knowledge with knowledge from the fields of economics and law as well as the natural sciences.
Requirements general higher education qualification, advanced technical college certificate or equivalent (e.g. master craftsman's examination)
Type and language of instruction Full-time, German-taught
