On this page, we have compiled information for you so that you can have the most pleasant start to your studies with us.
Welcome to the first semester at THWS
As every year, we invite all new students in their first semester to introductory events which will be held separately for each degree programme (BLO/BWW/IBE/IBL). We scheduled two days, 01.10.2025 and 02.10.2025, for the first semester welcome. Your lectures will start on Monday, October 6th, 2025. By attending the offered introductory events, you will not miss any lecture.
All face-to-face and online events start on Oct. 1st at 8:15 am (MET).
Registration
For the planning of the events, it is essential that you register for the individual events. Only registered participants can take part in the events.
Please bring your tablet or notebook on the first day! You will receive more information a few days before semester start.
We are looking forward to seeing as many students as possible in the face-to-face events.
If you are unable to be in Schweinfurt at semester start, you may choose the digital event* via zoom. You can download the necessary software here. You can find introductory tutorials for the software in the Zoom Help Center.
Please register online for one event only. The online registration is possible until 25.09.2025, 12 am.
*only available for the English speaking degree programmes Business and Engineering (IBE) and Logistics (IBL).
