The concept of research at the THWS Faculty of Business and Engineering (FWI) is significantly influenced by aspects of interdisciplinarity and application-oriented research. The aim is always to work through regionally relevant topics in a responsible and scientifically precise way and to share the resulting findings with our research partners – e.g. regional companies – for their practice. The results of our research are to be applied both in teaching and in industry. With this attitude to research, the Faculty of Business and Engineering aims to make a contribution to technical, economic and social challenges with relevance to society.
This task is decisively supported and carried out by the laboratories established at the Faculty of Business and Engineering, which each form a competence network for research and teaching in their own right and in multi-disciplinary cooperation with other laboratories.Opens internal link in current window
